Phìn Tradition -Vietnamese Pairing

from $17.49

This is a pairing of two Vietnamese coffees. We developed this as an ode both to Vietnam’s famous Phìn dripper tradition and its rich history of farming and drinking both arabica and robusta. This is specialty coffee interpretation and so it is a medium-dark roasted coffee (again, it is not very dark compared to traditional “Vietnamese Coffee” that you might brew over sweet and condensed milk). We worked hard to roast these two origins in a way so we could bring out the traditional notes of smokey, nutty dark chocolate, but still light enough to have broad flavor complexity and even some acidity. In addition to it’s intended brewing in a classic Phìn brewer it also makes a killer espresso!

We have paired two origins/coffees: ThyThy Farm’s yellow cataui arabica that is roasted dark. And Future Farm’s anaerobic natural robusta roasted super light. Flavor profiles are cherry, whiskey, nutty, smokey, big body. Available in 6oz bag, 12oz bag, or 1Kilo bag. Whole Bean or Filter Grind.
